Snow Removal FAQs
J&D begins regular snow removal operations on November 1st. However, if a significant snow event occurs before November 1st and the property has a signed snow removal agreement with us, we can mobilize and begin service as needed.
Yes. We provide complete snow and ice management services for HOAs and commercial properties communities, and residential associations.
Yes. We provide snow removal services for commercial properties, retail centers, offices, medical facilities, and other commercial sites.
Yes. We provide ice management and deicing services for both HOA and commercial properties, including proactive applications and treatment of icy areas when conditions require it and if they request it.
Absolutely. We allow property managers to select customized snow-service triggers based on the property’s needs, traffic, risk level, and budget.
Our operations are prioritized based on the type and urgency of the property. Medical facilities and high-priority commercial properties are typically serviced first, followed by HOA communities. Our goal is to have the property cleared within 24 hours after snowfall ends, depending on the storm, accumulation, and site requirements.
We only offer seasonal snow management contracts.
We plan our operations in advance and dedicate equipment, crews, and resources to specific service areas. J&D currently operates from two strategic locations, Greeley and Fort Collins, allowing us to position equipment and crews closer to the properties we serve.
Because seasonal snow contracts require us to reserve crews and equipment throughout the winter, we limit the number of seasonal properties we accept. This allows us to properly staff each route and provide reliable service when a major storm hits.
Ready Before the First Snow.
Let’s build a snow and ice management plan around your property before winter weather arrives.
